Fandango's Firey Tapenade

This simple recipe is a family favorite from Fandango. Great with fresh bread or crackers, it makes a dynamite topping for lamb chops as well.

  • 3/4 cups pitted olives
  • 31/2 oz. drained capers
  • 3 tsp. Sweet Hot Mustard
  • 1 can drained anchovy fillets
  • 1 TBL. whole peppercorns
  • 1 large garlic clove minced
  • 1/2 tsp. dry thyme leaves

Combine all of the ingredients in either a blender or a food processor & mix until finely chopped. Add just enough EVOO to achieve the desired consistency.  Serve with you favorite bread or crackers.
