Our family planted our initial estate orchard when we were kids, we grew up with the trees; gaining experience in small scale agriculture and olive oil production. After college and a few years in the “real world”, the two of us left our corporate jobs. With quality of life in mind, we started Other Brother in order to pursue our passion for food and small-scale agriculture. There is only two of us full time, so our family and friends help us to complete The Other Brother Company. We truly see our business as an outlet for creativity; by working with local chefs, artists and brands, these “Other Brothers and Sisters” all contribute towards producing an authentic “Good Good”.
ABOUT OUR GROVE
We are adding four new growers to our production this year. Our oils will come from 6 groves located along the California Coast from Templeton to Carmel Valley. The trees range from 10 – 25 years old. We grow Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino,Maurino, Arbequina and Koroneiki trees which we harvest for extra virgin olive oil. We also have a few rows of Kalamata trees which we harvest for brine. We believe it is our responsibility to produce a sustainable organic product. All of our trees are are grown organically and pesticide free.
