ABOUT US
Kiler Ridge is a small family-­‐run farm dedicated to sustainable growing practices and production of extra virgin olive oils of the highest quality. We grow and mill olives on-site, and offer tours and olive oil tastng at the farm’s Frantoio, our olive oil production facility. While it looks like a classic California barn, the Frantoio was designed to be zero net energy, using straw bale construction and solar power.

ABOUT OUR GROVE
Our grove consists of 2,700 olive trees growing in the calcareous soil of the coastal hills on the west side of Paso Robles. All of the trees are Italian cultivars: Frantoio, Leccino, Maurino, Pendolino, Coratina, Nocellara de Belice and Taggiasca. Our first orchard block, a field blend of the Tuscan cultivars, is ten years old, and the most recently planted block contains Taggiasca, only 2 years old.

OUR PERFECT DAY
Harvest day — when our family and friends show up early in the morning to help us pick olives and the delicious smell of fresh olive oil permeates the milling room. That evening everyone celebrates with a hearty meal, olio nuovo, local wine, and dancing.
